Lowrance® Sonar and Displays are powerful devices for both fishing and BioBase™ Mapping. Users have many settings that allows them to customize their screen views, data overlays, and sonar/sounder settings. Little do users know there is an overlooked feature called the Settings Database that allows you to back up these settings and restore them should your device become corrupted or if you want to transfer them on a different device. For BioBase mapping, we recommend special settings found in our QuickStart Guide that can be adjusted manually by users as detailed below. Or, just simply download the settings file here and import into your Lowrance (just as a good practice, back up your current settings if you’d like to revert to your old settings after uploading the BioBase settings file .set)
Update your Lowrance with the Pre-configured BioBase Settings File
Many users might elect to use our preconfigured settings file to have all the BioBase settings and recommended screens pre-loaded. Further, if something happens to your device like “Oh my gosh, what button did I just push, why does my screen look like that now, how do I go back?!” 😃 Rest assured, this file will get you back to your happy place!
Add new screens and further adjust overlays to your liking.
