North American Lake Management Society and BioBase Workshop
- Dates: November 5-8, 2024
- Details: Through the NALMS2024 conference, Aquatic Biologist and BioBaseMaps Product Expert Ray Valley will lead participants through a half-day classroom workshop on the fundamentals of lake mapping with consumer sonar, processing in BioBase, and survey design tips and tricks. We’re also excited to be working with Eli Kersh at LakeTech, inc. and Lars Anderson at Waterweed Solutions to help us with a hands-on/in person demo of some Aquatic Plant management work happening down the road from the conference center in the Tahoe Keys. If the weather cooperates, we may do small boat tours of the Keys with a hands-on demo of how to map with BioBase while visiting specific management sites. Spots for the classroom and boat/site tour on Nov. 5th are limited, so sign up early – Workshop Registration Those interested in the classroom need to enroll through NALMS. Those interested in the site tour in the afternoon of Nov. 5th, should contact info@biobasemaps.com separately (first come, first serve)
